About this event

Vehicle registration: 7:00–11:00 AM. Awards at 3:00 PM. This is not a class show; it is a “Top 215” show divided into 8 groups. Each group has an equal chance to win an award, with 1 winner in 3. Over 225 custom awards, including 16 “special” large awards. Award groups: all cars 1959 and older (30 awards); all cars 1960–1966 (25 awards); all cars 1967–1969 (25 awards); all cars 1970–1979 (30 awards); all cars 1980 and newer (30 awards); trucks and vans 1979 and older (30 awards); trucks and vans 1980 and newer (15 awards); motorcycles, bikes and trikes (15 awards). About 600 parking spots are available, with about 60 on grass. Iowa DNR mobile education exhibit. Three live bands: Palamino Band, Rock Steady and DJ Sizzlin’ Sounds. Food and activities include Lions Club food stand, homemade pie and ice cream, awesome food, candy, a kids’ zone with bounce houses and face painting, a 50/50, limited-edition event T-shirts, and an interactive “Feel the Thunder” display. Goody bags for the first 250 vehicles in the gate. Over 500 cars, trucks, bikes and hot rods expected. Title sponsor: Victory Ford | Dyersville.
