Terms of Service

Effective date: September 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ascent Information Management, a Texas business operating RestoMod Events (“RestoMod Events,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of restomodevents.com, any other domain we operate for RestoMod Events, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or submitting a listing, you affirmatively agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit content.

1. What the Service is

RestoMod Events is a free directory for stationary car shows, cruise-ins, and similar events. We provide information and publishing tools. We are not the organizer, promoter, venue, insurer, ticket seller, permitting authority, or safety supervisor for events listed by third parties. A listing is not our endorsement, sponsorship, verification of safety, or guarantee that the event will occur as described.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to create an account or submit a listing. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

3. Listings and automated publication

A person may prepare a listing before signing in, but we do not accept it until that person signs in, confirms their email, and completes the required rights attestation. Complete submissions that pass automated checks may publish without individual human approval. Other submissions may require correction, remain unpublished for staff review, or be rejected. Automated extraction and screening can be wrong; you must review and correct every suggested fact before submitting.

We may edit formatting, correct obvious errors, merge duplicates, change status, decline, suspend, archive, or remove any listing or account. Event details can change. Visitors should verify important information with the organizer or linked source before traveling, registering, paying anyone, or relying on a listing.

4. Your content and license

You retain any ownership rights you have in event information, flyers, photographs, logos, text, links, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant Ascent Information Management a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, with the right to use service providers, to host, store, reproduce, technically modify or format, create display-size derivatives of, publicly display, distribute, and promote User Content through the Service and RestoMod Events’ official social-media channels. This license is limited to operating, securing, improving, and promoting the Service and the submitted event. It continues while the content is on the Service and for a reasonable period in backups, audit records, and legal records after removal.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own the User Content or have all permission needed to submit and license it; (b) the submission and our permitted use will not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights; (c) the event facts are accurate to the best of your knowledge; and (d) any personal contact information you submit may lawfully be used for the listing. A flyer being publicly visible on Facebook, another website, or in public does not by itself give you permission to copy or republish it.

5. Public-source listings

Some listing facts and event flyers may be collected from publicly available sources, such as an event name, date, time, venue, location, publicly announced admission information, and a flyer or poster that was already public. We do not claim ownership of third-party events, brands, or flyer artwork. An event owner or authorized representative can Browse Events and use Claim this event on an eligible unclaimed imported listing, Report a listing, Correct a listing, the Copyright Policy removal process, or email info@restomodevents.com to request correction, replacement, or removal.

Launch listings retain and display their source/original flyers as primary card and detail media. An authorized organizer may keep that flyer, upload an authorized replacement, or use Flyer Studio, which ships with five templates and five supplied starter vehicles. Organizer-provided or organizer-created media replaces the current flyer only after the authorized replacement is validated and saved. We do not claim DMCA safe harbor, and RestoMod Events has not registered a designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate law or another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • submit false, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, hateful, obscene, or dangerous material;
  • impersonate an organizer or misrepresent authorization, affiliation, or event facts;
  • upload malware or interfere with the Service, accounts, security, rate limits, or access controls;
  • scrape or bulk-copy the Service, or submit scraped social-network or ticketing inventories;
  • use automated means to create accounts or listings without our written permission; or
  • collect or misuse personal information displayed through the Service.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service’s software, design, original text, and RestoMod Events branding belong to Ascent Information Management or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. Third-party names, event marks, vehicle marks, and flyer content belong to their respective owners. Feedback may be used without payment or restriction, but we do not claim ownership of your User Content through feedback.

8. Copyright complaints

We respond to good-faith copyright complaints and maintain a repeat-infringer policy. This is a voluntary notice-and-takedown process. We do not claim DMCA safe harbor or a registered agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512. The required notice and counter-notification procedures are in our Copyright Policy. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement may create liability. Copyright questions may be sent to info@restomodevents.com.

9. Third-party services and event dealings

Listings may link to organizers, venues, maps, registration providers, social networks, or other third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply to them. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, payments, refunds, registrations, event cancellation, conduct, safety, accessibility, permits, insurance, or compliance. Any transaction or attendance decision is between you and the applicable third party.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL LISTINGS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT A LISTING IS COMPLETE, CURRENT, LAWFUL, SAFE, OR AUTHORIZED, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. Some laws do not permit certain disclaimers, so they apply only to the extent permitted.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASCENT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND ITS OWNERS, PERSONNEL, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, EVENT LOSS, OR THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR AN EVENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

12. Indemnification

If you create an account or submit content, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ascent Information Management, its owners, and personnel from third-party claims, damages, judgments, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your User Content, your event, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own unlawful conduct.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, rights protection, operational integrity, or a violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including licenses needed for retained records, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

Texas law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you and we agree to send a written description to the other party and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction where Ascent Information Management is located in Texas, unless applicable law permits or requires a different forum. Nothing here waives nonwaivable consumer rights or either party’s right to seek urgent injunctive relief.

15. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and effective date and, for material changes affecting account holders, provide reasonable advance notice by email or a prominent Service notice. Changes apply prospectively. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of the Service.
